If they are not in the Registry, they must be in that configuration 
file which is your Documents folder somewhere.

Obviously, since I never use the dropdown, I don't care if there are bogus
entries.

(When I think of it, I may occasionally use the dropdown at work, if I am
to connect to a customer server, and I know that I've been there recently. 
The customer servers often have difficult names like UP09VSSQL11 and the
port number is not always 1433, and if I have not updated my hosts file,
I need to use the IP address.)
