Yeah, I just find it more convenient to put stuff 
like that in the glass convection oven with the roast 
potato and put the ceramic thing in the dishwasher. 

I actually have at least a dozen raw shanks in the 
freezer from the ex legs of lamb and was planning
to do them in one of the slow cookers in winter
and might well do them the same way as the 
aldi ones when I find the ceramic thing it fits. 

I do have one of those midget electric frypans and lid too.
