I use W10 just as I did W7, and, apart from some graphics, I notice very little difference from W7. I have it on a baby laptop like yours, the big I7 laptop (16GB RAM 1TB SSD) and a home brewed I5 desktop with an eclectic collection of disks both spinning rust and SSD. I have had not a single problem in over a year with updates turned on. OTOH I have a W7 laptop that has eaten its GBR.
