Yeah, my "Nothing for 100's of Ks," is a little exagerated (sp?),
because the Telstra towers are normally in a 50 by 50km grid. BTW,
they're not radar towers but other technology, which I can't remember
ATM. Anyway, that detail is moot, because the only relevant point is
that they're *not* mobile-phone towers.

Nope, but if he can manage to breakdown in Oodnadatta he can just wait
till the thrink comes along. IIRC, he drove up from Adelaide every now
and then.
Make him stay at the Pink Roadhouse. That'll make sure that his
condition does not improve till the shrink get's there.
