Can I use mplayer with -loop 0 _but_ with the
volume not resetting when the file ends and
begins again?

I'm on Debian Buster if that matters, with

$ uname -a
Linux xxxx 4.19.0-6-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.19.67-2+deb10u2
(2019-11-11) x86_64 GNU/Linux

and mplayer version 2:1.3.0-8+b4 (according to
'aptitude show', there seems to be no -version
option)
