I haven't seen a true hub easily available anywhere in at least a 
decade. Most of the low end parts are built around the same couple of 
highly integrated chips (which are switches). The last generation of 
cheap "hubs" were actually partial bridges, to handle 10Mbps and 100Mbps 
devices.
