Looks like 4.14.0-rc3- amd64 doesn't hang on suspend, but I need more testing to be sure. > I don't have any specific advice for debugging suspend/resume though, > sorry (I can say it works ok on my 4th gen carbon X1, but I think > that's not the latest by at least a gen if not two). I think mine is 6th gen. It's a nice system when it's not crashing. Also I have another problem in that it sometimes locks up when doing video stuff. That happens both in the Stretch and the Testing kernels so I don't think it's related to the hang on suspend issue. Any suggestions on how to debug total video lockups (to the stage that the caps-lock LED doesn't work)? Thanks.
