Is:
cupsfilter -P Samsung.ppd doc.odt

enough? I get always: no filter to convert to application/pdf

although cups-filters seems to be installed.

The same with --list-filters parameter.

How do I do it? Editing the ppd? In a commandline switch of cups-filter?
