Some of these go as far back > as 2015, and have 100KB size. My GUESS is that it is the same in Firefox as Thunderbird, since they share a common base. I would first copy any thing I was uncertain about to another folder and then proceed to remove files. If I it caused a problem you can alway copy them back.
