Oh, I understand your alleged 'principle' on this, but if the amount of 
money was actually significant to you personally, you would have taken 
up the offer to be reimbursed.

The real point is that there's invariably many things that a government 
or institution does which one may not 100.00% agree with, but to try to 
be petulant about that is very childish.

Gosh, you've found **one** malcontent - - and they resigned after they 
were suspended for violating their terms of employment.

They were penalized because they violated their employment contract's 
terms .. and as someone was just preaching about "one bad apple spoils 
the bunch", a violation is a violation is a violation, so Berliner had 
utterly no excuse for his decision to violate his contract.
