You're right to be slightly skeptical of "urgent" messages from anthing official sounding. How did you get this message and what does it ask you to do? Like others have said Office 365 (MS365) will only prompt you via the MS AutoUpdater app and it is never "urgent". You update when you want. However, I use it via my work and so if you've got a personal subscription you /may/ get a message via your MS account.
