However, I prefer viewing the detailed messages as Web pages in my browser. That allows me more options to change the display. For example, I read amateur fiction online as Web pages. I get an RSS feed each time a story has a new chapter. Some authors like to show off their HTML skills, with white text on a dark background. I have toolbar buttons on my browser to change that to black text on a pale green backgroun, which is much easier on my eyes. Some stories have links to related information. I can select a link to open in a new tab without losing my place in the story and without having to jump between Thunderbird and my browser. As I indicated, Thunderbird is NOT a Web browser. -- David E. Ross <http://www.rossde.com/>
