Think about what they *didn’t* say: they didn’t offer to preinstall Windows for the customer, or even to include a copy of Windows in the box. They don’t guarantee that Windows will even work. So all the risk is up to the customer. It’s up to you to get your own copy of Windows -- and remember, it can’t be an OEM copy, it’s got to be a full retail-priced copy. And if it doesn’t work? Can you take your Windows copy back to where you bought it and demand a refund? Good luck with getting the shop to understand that there are x86-based machines out there that are not fully Windows-compatible!
