The trick is that you need to know their provider. The other catch is that they'll have to send an email to respond to you. Confusing. Probably most people wouldn't know how to handle it. So it's like 1234567890@vtext.com Hopefully the recipient knows it's a joke and knows that you can't receive a text in return. I don't know how they see the sender identified.
