The word "Linux" is the kiss of death for retail computers.

"Linux" in the specs = automatic rejection by shoppers.

"GNU/Linux" is even worse; it conjures images of idiots dancing around 
shamelessly in public in ugly antelope-head costumes tossing empty boxes 
of Windows into a big trash can.
