I have repeated my tests, starting my Debian/testing system with the 4.13.0-2 kernel, and the same problem occured. Then I have started the system with yet older 4.12.0-2 kernel ( uname -a returns: Linux wzab 4.12.0-2-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.12.13-1 (2017-09-19) x86_64 GNU/Linux ) Now the vhci_hcd driver loads
