  it looks like your /etc/apt/sources.list file doesn't
contain all the lines for testing or they are improperly 
formed?


mine look like:

deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian/ testing main contrib non-free 
deb http://security.debian.org/debian-security testing/updates main contrib non-free
deb-src http://http.us.debian.org/debian/ testing main contrib non-free
