The absolute beginning shows how. I have a feeling there was no "absolute beginning". Its the great chicken and egg problem. ;^) One can think of something that was always there, and will never pass away. Some think of it as the one God, but whatever... You can tap your fingers together to keep time. Time exists in every dimension. I do not think that time is the 4'th dimension.
