To Edmund: How do you fix user error in advance? And Linux Mint is not "cut and paste" as you say. It's one of the most popular distributions for a reason. And one of the reasons I like Linux (and Linux Mint specifically) is because it gives you lots of customization options. I like that better than the straight jacket Windows and Mac OS wants to buckle you into, even if you do accidentally delete your panel. I did it once, it took me about five minutes to rebuild. -- Freedom. Use it or lose it.
