Worked on a a system with a GeForce GT 240 with a stuck fan which would
overheat and lock up a system. It was a EVGA GT 240 with a special fan.
Oiling did not work and replacement was more $$ than the damn card was
worth. All I did for a hack was to remove the shroud on the heatsink and
took a old cpu fan 40 or 50mm from an old Pentium 1 or AMD 486 heatsink
and just used screws to the heatsink fins to secure the fan. Worked
while I found a replacement card.
