Your stop condition -- "nIter <=32767" -- is incorrect. When
the iterator is 32767, it is still true, and so you add "1". This
causes it to roll over to -32768, and keep counting.
Changing the line to:
for (nIter = -32768; nIter < 32767; nIter++)
should fix it for you.
