He said that there were some Americans around, living a drugindused existance. That would be, uh, 10 years ago or so. I remember the stories of how computers were helping win that war, there was an idea of an 'oil-stain' graphics output, the computers would plot areas with cdolouring showing the places that had been cleared of Vietcong, areas that were being cleared, etc, and a series of these maps would show the progress.
