I've been running ${CURRENT_BETA} on my primary machine for a very long
time. Pretty much whenever there has been a seed since back in the days
of System 7.7 (What, you've never heard of System 7.7? Trust me, it
existed).
I've always had a second machine (or third, or fourth, &c) and my
primary machine has never been the machine doing most of the work
(that's always been a lesser Mac churning away on mundane tasks).
I've had very good luck, have kept plenty of backups, and have never had
anything I would consider a catastrophic failure from running a
developer seed of Mac system software.
