You seem to be a fan of hacks. I suppose that's fine for you, but I
learned long ago that running a system free of hacks makes for a much
more stable system.

The only change I made to my dock, and only on my laptop, was setting
the delay to 2.5 seconds. I moved it to the right just for the
screenshot, I normally keep it on the bottom unless I have multiple
screens.

Of course, I nearly never see the dock.
