The UPS I have my router and cable modem and switch on can run them for
at least 4 hours, maybe more.

The UPS I have my iMac on can run it for at least an hour, though I will
lose the second screen and the external drives.

Also, UPSs generally clean up the power, so your devices last longer
even without power failures.
