Sorry, it doesn't compile.
$ cat a.c
int main(void)
{
int *pointer, ***p;
p=&(&pointer);
return 0;
}
$ cc a.c
a.c: In function 'main':
a.c:4:5: error: lvalue required as unary '&' operand
p=&(&pointer);
