"In its original antitrust filing, AMD noted that it tried to give HP a
million free processors at one point, only to be told that HP was so
dependent on Intel rebates, it couldn’t afford to take them."

That sounds like AMD bribery to me. What does it sound like to you,
sniveling rodent?

Sounds like you never once negotiated a salary/compensation offer. Is
that what I'm reading?

Also, this analysis: https://are.berkeley.edu/~sberto/AMDIntel.pdf

claims the "Intel monopoly" cost consumers $14.87 per $1000 of computer.

That's a whopping 1.5%! Those vicious Intel criminals are forcing us to
pay extortionate prices!

By parallel you mean, of course, that at any and all times customers
could have switched from Intel (Windows) to AMD (other OSes).

If their products are competitive they'll succeed without govt
interference. And they have.

I'll probably buy an AMD chip next time, for the performance value and
to spread the money around a bit.
