Exactly.  And they can express those objections as they feel appropriate.

There are no moderators here - appointed, elected, self-appointed or
imaginary.

If people are posting things that I don't think are appropriate for this
group, or not appropriate anywhere, anyone - me or anyone else - can ask
them to stop.

Keith's way of expressing that is basically saying he won't be providing
any help, information or comments on C questions or discussions posted
by the person.  Since this group is for discussing C, and most of the
people here want to do that, the person regularly making inappropriate
posts will lose out.  They will likely lose the possibility of help and
comments from many other regulars - not all give warnings.

And if someone is here in this group, and does not want help or comments
from the knowledgeable and helpful regulars, then you have to wonder why
they are here at all.
