Which means that if you have a cluster with a mixed load, you'll have to equip some nodes specially for CFD applications, because they often have high memory requirements... From a folkloristic perspective, I find the resemblance between the slurm options and what you have to put on the JOB statement of IBM's JCL rather amusing, given that everybody abhors JCL. But then again, you use them to submit to a batch queue, so it stands to reason that you have to specify the same things.
