And that refutes what I said how?  Sure, you connect to your ISP's
server at port 25.  But that's still INSIDE the ISP's network.. They
shouldn't have 25 open to the world.

Bullshit. You apparently don't understand how email works.  Port 25 does
not need to be open to the OUTSIDE world.
