Its totally up to date on Firmware - a factory reset is the last resort as my lad is wired into it for all his gaming gear :-( Synology looks good but I am drawn to the Ubiquiti range (ex-Airport Apple guys in high places there)- Their Ubiquiti Amplifi HD Mesh router is the coolest Apple'esque Router I have ever seen - lovely piece of kit - well specced too. The Mesh points are a bit pricey to add on though. Thoughts? JohnB
