That all sounds frustrating. For sale to the US, you'll need to satisfy 
some specific FDA requirements and be prepared to prove it, including 
dotting Is/crossing Ts in just the right way. You have an international 
crew so you'll probably have to satisfy certain other international 
requirements. I'd float the idea of getting an FDA expert on your team 
as soon as possible. You'll need that kind of talent, otherwise your 
efforts will be wasted.
