In my previous job I had the opportunity to work with a very large C++14/17 project (EOS/WAX blockchains). The temptation to use "auto" everywhere was big: easy to start using it, by later I discovered that it was very awful to read and use the code, especially when you don't have a good IDE (but surprise surprise, even the good IDEs have serious problems with auto). -- Cholo Lennon Bs.As.
