You have been "considerate" ?

How much are you paying us to act as consultants? Or is this your
private newsgroup on your own private server?

When you make a post on Usenet, you do not /own/ the thread. You don't
get to decide who responds, or how. You don't get to make demands on
other posters, or insist that they stick to answering your questions.
You can expect basic courtesy and Usenet etiquette, but that is all.

And I think most people here /have/ replied based on the post you made,
and follow-ups by you and others.

What is missing, as I see it, is a total lack of information from you
about the task at hand. We are getting drips here and there that
completely change the kind of solution anyone would recommend. If you
want good advice and help, tell us what you are actually trying to
achieve - not just a half-arse description of a smart-arse idea that
anyone else can see is hopeless for /any/ task.

If I wrote that I planned on kicking my car down the road, and wanted to
know how it would affect the wear on the tyres, do you think I'd get a
direct answer?

If you want to know what consequences different methods of driving LEDs
would have, then tell us what kind of LEDs you are working with, the
numbers, the powers, the colours, the types of levelling you need, the
environment where it will be used, the needs of the users. Tell us
/relevant/ things.

And if you don't want people to concentrate on trying to move you away
from a seriously daft control software idea, then don't make it the
centre of your post.

Now, go back and re-read your original post, and try to understand why
people were answering the post you wrote, rather than the questions you
think you were asking.

(And if this post means I too get plonked, fair enough. Trying to get
relevant details from you has always been like squeezing blood from a
stone.)
