	Comput*able* not comput*er* or comput*ing*. A real for which
there exists a computer program which, given n as parameter, will print
that real correct to n decimal places*. Sqrt(2), pi, e, ... are all
computable, as are all the standard trig functions [with computable
parameters], polynomials with computable coefficients, .... Anything
that is susceptible to the usual processes of numerical analysis. But
there are still only countably many of them, so almost all reals are
not computable. Nor describable, for reasonable meanings of that.

__
  * More accurately, a TM which given n on its tape halts with the
real printed to n dp. Lots of equivalent definitions. A
computer program has to be prepared to use arbitrarily much
backing store [arbitrarily many USB sticks!] to do the work,
but that's "extraneous detail", to coin a phrase.
