Fwiw, I think of this along the following lines: ______________________________________ 1. The teacher gives box b0 to a person. 2. The teacher says here is another box b1, that can contain 2 times the amount in b0, or 1/2. You can flip a coin, or keep b0. What do you want to do? // flips coin 3. The person flips the coin, and it goes heads. 4. The teacher opens b1, and there are two boxes b2 and b3 inside. One marked heads b2, and one marked tails b3. 5. The teacher hands the person b2. 6. The person opens b0 and b2. b2 has half the candy! 7. The person goes back to gamblers anonymous. ______________________________________ Is that correct in any way, shape or form? ;^o
