(I measured it myself) and that in this case increasing concentration produces a MUCH reduced effect because it now only related to the expansion of the wings of that band which give a much reduced increase in area in wavelength space. It should be noted that for CO2 only ONE band is effective in greenhouse warming and for that band one wing is blocked by water vapor.

Well, Benj's anti GH effect propaganda not being backed up by
 facts is well known.

Your own words above confirm
what I have said about your not understanding the GH effect. :-)

I was speaking about "when absorption is saturated", I was not
speaking about the peak sides are not saturated yet.

But for saturation, it plays the big role the rate the rate of
 absorption,
as it directly relates to thickness of the thickness of the
topmost layer emitting to space at given wavelength and it's
 effective radiation temperature.

The fact there is only 1 significant absorption CO2 peak is well
known as well. But it is located near the Earth thermal emission
 maximum.

Additionally, absorption( and therefore also emission) rate of the
topmost layers emitting to space is more important than
absorption rate in surface layer , and the content of water is
 much smaller there.
