Mass has all indications of representing some kind of objective matter. Porat is right on. You have ZERO idea why Sumerians (or Mayans) used the number systems they did. But then total ignorance never stopped you from making your pronouncements, did it? To say we would have no "seconds" without the Sumerians only shows your total ignorance. Did Sumerians use the word "seconds"? With different divisions one can still have "seconds" only their length will be different. Thinking isn't something you do, is it?
