Hey "Kensi"! Forget your usual journalist level "science". We are discussing the nature of electromagnetic fields in general and the statements in Jackson in particular. Please join the discussion and give us all your highly educated insight into these issues. Astrophysicists do study Electromagnetic theory at some time during their education to get a Ph.D, right? <snicker>
