Are your Macs using a hard drive or Fusion drive?

It might be the ridiculous new anti-malware system Apple seems to have
added to 10.13.6 (and the Mojave beta). I don't use Sleep, but there's
an idiotic new process called 'YaraScanService' which is extremely
annoying and definitely slows down the computer every time I reboot and
for the next hour or two while it rescans files it already scanned
before. It eats up disk usage, RAM, CPU time, etc., and although it
does lessen its usage when the cmputer is "busy", it does still slow it
down.

It is of course much faster when scanning an SSD, so should be less
noticeable on those Macs.
