Convenience my fragrant ass.  These people have far more money than
brains, and hence they willingly pay for another gadget that will
save them from their stupidity.

How big is a GPS screen?  Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!  It's so fucking small
as to be totally useless.  A simple map, however, provides a broad
view of the layout and allows the human brain, which is designed for
such kinds of visual processing, to form the proper "gestalt."

Of course you cannot agree because you are a card-carrying member
of the above mentioned horde.

Simple road maps are 2-dimensional.  I'd hate to see these idiots,
and you included, try to wrestle with 3-D topographical maps.
