I know that mine does. You forgot to mention that the force required to ratchet backwards is at times much greater than the friction imparted by the bolt threads. This situation will render a ratcheting device completely useless for at least starting off the tightening process. Yeah. You forgot to mention that. Maybe you should poke your head out of your cloister every now and then.
