Consider the following: ⅈℏ ∂𝚿∕∂𝑡 = - ℏ²∕2𝑚 ∂²𝚿∕∂𝑥² + 𝑉(𝑥)𝚿(𝑥,𝑡) = 𝐻[𝚿(𝑥,𝑡)] This is an example of in-line Unicode. There are NO ASCII characters. Even the "t" and "x" are special Unicode math symbols. This expression can be used "as is" or it could be machine parsed to produce a typeset-style form. But this straightforward equation required a comparatively long time to compose only because I had to look up the hex code for each symbol. However, if I had a special KEYBOARD the entry could have gone MUCH FASTER, and with practice such keyboard entry would allow math entry to be very efficient -- a LOT more efficient than the markup alternatives. Furthermore, Unicode promises to be UNAMBIGUOUS and this is important for machine reading and parsing. For example, Unicode has "invisible" operators that can be inserted into such expressions as "mv" so that a parser can know that "m" is multiplied by "v." There is no reason why conventional keyboards cannot be made with expansion ports to allow add-on specialized keyboards. > > In my opinion ... > No one cares about your "opinion."
