I've programmed in a wide variety of languages. There is only one as powerful as C: PL/1. Of course, C++ includes C... So, it's best to just forget about all those other languages, IMO. It's done slightly differently in C, but C is far more powerful and flexible. The big problem with BASIC is unstructured code. You can jump into and out of loops, etc. Rod Pemberton
