rate is too slow, they cannot produce enough O2 for 1 person to breath.
How many bean plants does it take to produce 1 L/hr of O2, how much
water, how much CO2 and how much light ?

one has to go mine it, dig it up, load it into a gas tight hopper, and
melt the water out. How much dirt does one have to move to get 1 L/hr ?

space suits do not have cosmic ray protection at all.

you dont have enough water to wash clothes, dry them, clean the water
and re-use the water. all that energy and equipment.

wont work. Clothes intercept human skin cells that are always flaking
off, and form a biofilm on the interiors of space craft and moon
stations, and Mars Stations, a very serious contammination problem. only
reason to wear clothes is to keep the interiors clean.

ok, you can get outside for an hour or two, but then you have to go back
in for 10 hours, all to avoid cosmic radiation. (this is true)
the shelter is a fuel tank burried 10 feet underground. Cant be on the
surface radiation is too high.

what do you mine to get helium-3 ?

cost, weight, size, complexity, maturity, usefulness, reliability,
maintanance are all factors you are ingoring. But dream on....
