Why, Arizona is a small community near Ajo...it gets its English name 
from the three-way road intersection around which it formed (Arizona law 
at the time it was found prohibited the simpler name of "Y"; the O'odham 
name is "Ban Hi:nk", a native name that unashamedly uses the IPA "long 
vowel" indicator in its orthography)....r
