No it doesn't. Units are manmade. The value of the constants clearly depend
on the manmade units and so getting mankind's arbitrary conventions out of
the way as much as possible makes things simpler.  You really don't
understand this, do you?

Do you think there is something fundamental about measuring distance in
terms of a fraction of the distance between equator and pole? Or something
fundamental about measuring time in terms of some Babylonian magic number
fraction of the length of a day?
