In other words, he uses USEFULNESS as the metric for scientific truth, and he is willing to subjectively attribute greater usefulness to the applications that he likes. If anyone disagrees with his subjective assessment of which applications are useful and which are not, then he will dismiss the disagreement as being misinformed.
