What am I doing wrong here?

Just trying to get some random chars and ints:

   int ratescount = sizeof(rates) / sizeof(rates[0]);
   int jobscount  = sizeof(jobs)  / sizeof(jobs [0]);

   for(i=0;i<atoi(argv[1]);i++)
   {
	srand(time(NULL));
	sprintf(randName ,"%s", names[rand()%namescount]);
	srand(time(NULL));
	sprintf(randRate ,"%d", rates[rand()%ratescount]);
	srand(time(NULL));
	sprintf(randJob  ,"%s", jobs [rand()%jobscount]);
	printf("%s, %d, %s\n",randName, randRate, randJob);
   }

   return 0;
}

This line near the end:
sprintf(randRate ,"%d", rates[rand()%ratescount]);

throws "warning: assignment makes pointer from integer without a cast"

It compiles, but errors out on that line when I run it.
