You of course mean "wasting { } on multi-line comments, when ( ) does
that job already" (and in ANS Forth, it does indeed, including
SwiftForth ;-).
There's no reason to have another multi-line comment, when you already
have one. And indeed, both words are defined exactly the same way in
SwiftForth:
: ( [char] ) skip-past ; immediate
: { [char] } skip-past ; immediate
(reverse engineered from looking at the disassembler output).
